A Record-Breaking Night at Family Bingo and Potluck!

This past Friday evening, American Legion Post 15 hosted what can only be described as our most exciting Family Bingo and Potluck Night yet! With over 48 attendees—our largest turnout ever—the hall was filled with laughter, camaraderie, and plenty of delicious home-cooked dishes. It was a night to remember, not just for the incredible turnout, but for a very special celebration as well.

One of our own, Army Korean War Veteran and dedicated Legionnaire, Milt Thomas, celebrated his 92nd birthday with us. As the Bingo games paused for a moment, the entire room joined together in singing Happy Birthday to Milt. The joy and appreciation for his service and presence were felt throughout the hall. To honor him on this milestone, Harley and Ricky proudly presented Milt with an Army Paratrooper Ball Cap and an American Legion Polo Shirt—tokens of respect and gratitude for his dedication to our country and our Legion family.

Beyond the heartfelt celebration, the night was filled with spirited Bingo games, friendly competition, and plenty of winners walking away with prizes. Families and friends gathered around the tables, cheering each other on and enjoying the warm sense of community that makes Post 15 such a special place.

If you missed out on this incredible night, don’t worry—you have another chance to be part of the fun next month! Our Family Bingo and Potluck Night is held on the Fourth Friday of every month, and we want to see YOU there. Bring your family, bring a dish to share, and bring your best Bingo game face! It’s the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow Legionnaires, meet new friends, and create lasting memories.

Mark your calendars and join us next month for another fantastic evening at American Legion Post 15. Who knows—maybe you’ll be the next big winner, or maybe you’ll help us celebrate another special occasion. Either way, you won’t want to miss it!

See you next month!
